Like I said in the last post I haven’t had too much time on my hands to invest into those lovely crafty projects I love so much but now that changed. Finally! The sudden sad event in my life made me realize how easily things change and how hard it is to lose a person you care deeply about. We should try to make people that we care about know how much we love them almost every day. It is not necessary to buy them cars, jewels or houses, love is really best shown in small things: spend some time with them, finding things that are like created for them, make them something, cook them something, write them a nice short message or a card. There are so many ways and it is so easy to pick one if you follow your heart. This is how my Easter cards came to be. With two things on my mind I created these cards. First thing was obviously Easter and the second one my beloved grandma. I know how she loved flowers and pretty bright colors of nature. Driven by that thought I didn’t wrap my Easter cards in black and filled them with sadness and mourning but brightness and happiness. I know I will miss her, I already do, but I know she is in a better place, a happy place. A place where there is no sickness or sorrow… a place I imagine as a flowery meadow in spring. I hope you can see a small reflection of it in my cards underneath.
If you are interested how you can make a similar one, under the “craftsy” there will be a detailed description.
Ahhh that was one sweet project to make. 🙂 ❤ About other parts of my blog – the oven is in use more often too… if you wonder what has been cooking in our home check under “sweet”. Since the weather has been cooperating I started some other projects too. This third project is running rather slowly but I hope that we will be able to finish it till Easter, since Iva is coming to visit. It would be great to use it for the Easter morning. Do you have a clue what I am writing about?
If not, stay put and I will show you in a next post.
Till next time have a nice, creative and peaceful Easter!
